What is this?
The Gault Center's South Central Region presents a training series this month focused on transfer best practices.
Mitigation investigations are a vital tool in understanding the unique circumstances surrounding a young person’s life. In this session, youth defenders will learn the basic skills to contextualize and build a compelling case narrative by uncovering critical factors that mitigate culpability, highlight features of normative adolescent brain development, and embrace the potential of each young person.
This session is presented by Katherine Sato | Assistant State Public Defender Youth Division Department of the Office of the Ohio Public Defender
