  Jacqueline Bullard
Director
Jackie Bullard is the Director of the Illinois Juvenile Defender Resource Center, a division of the Office of the State Appellate Defender (OSAD). Jackie earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois in 1997. Before joining the Center, Jackie served as both an appellate defender and deputy in OSAD’s Fourth District office. Jackie’s appellate work has resulted in significant reforms in juvenile and criminal justice, and she is an active participant in systemic reform efforts aimed at juvenile indigent defense. Jackie currently serves on the Illinois Sex Offender Management Board and the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission. Jackie is the recipient of the National Juvenile Defender Center's Robert E. Shepherd Jr. Award for Excellence in Juvenile Defense and the Office of the State Appellate Defender’s James Haddad Award.


Scott F. Main 
Assistant Director
Scott Main is the Assistant Director of the Illinois Juvenile Defender Resource Center, a division of the Office of the State Appellate Defender (OSAD). Scott was an Assistant Appellate Defender in OSAD's First District Office for over ten years. From 2012 through 2019, he was a Clinical Fellow in the Children and Family Justice Center, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law focusing on policy and litigation strategy for youth in adult court facing or serving lengthy sentences. As a Fellow, his work primarily focused on youth serving life without parole sentences, but also included reform and litigation efforts surrounding transfer, parole, and enhanced sentencing discretion for juveniles. He has taught legal writing and the Criminal Appeals Clinic at DePaul University College of Law and a Criminal Law Practicum at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Scott holds an A.B. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.

 
Erin Johnson
Staff Attorney
Erin is a staff attorney with the Illinois Juvenile Defender Resource Center, a division of the Office of the State Appellate Defender (OSAD). Erin was an assistant appellate defender in OSAD's Second District Office for seven years, where she had the opportunity to represent indigent juveniles in appellate court. Prior to joining OSAD, Erin spent over five years as an assistant public defender in Kendall County, Illinois where she supervised juvenile court for the Kendall County Public Defender's Office and represented countless indigent juveniles in delinquency proceedings in trial court. Erin holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from University of Illinois-Chicago Law School (formerly John Marshall Law School).



Susan Sitki
Office Administrator
Sue Sitki is the Office Administrator of the Illinois Juvenile Defender Resource Center, a division of the Office of the State Appellate Defender (OSAD).  Sue has a BA in journalism, and a BS in marketing, and has been putting those skills to good use in writing, editing, and database management for the past twenty years.
