New Podcast - “Walk, Listen and Learn: Our Journey to Justice”

Published on 10/1/2020

Podcast Announcement from Lieutenant Governor Julianna Stratton:

"On Thursday, October 1st, my office will be launching a podcast entitled, 'Walk, Listen and Learn: Our Journey to Justice.' Why a podcast? Because it is a popular way to get information and listening to them is one of my favorite things to do.

Here’s how my team and I came up with the name and the concept. Most of you know the importance I place on mental health and selfcare, well this podcast pays homage to that. It combines my passion for Social Justice and Wellness. We will be focusing on encouraging people to walk, listen, and learn throughout the month of October.

The subject matter, 'Our Journey to Justice', is rooted in the number 13 and the reason why we will have that many episodes. The podcast serves as a symbolic tribute to the 13th Amendment—the embodiment of justice—which extended the blessings of freedom and liberty to all. You can listen to the podcast on https://anchor.fm/ltgovstratton, and follow me, Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram for episode updates and behind the scenes content.

Each episode in the series will offer an introduction to various aspects of justice from subject-matter experts. We hope listeners will enjoy the conversation, and ultimately be better equipped to understand and advocate for equity and opportunity

At the end of the day, it is important to support and encourage each other. This podcast will empower listeners to build heathy habits, while exploring justice through various lenses. Please join me October 1st for 'Walk, Listen and Learn: Our Journey to Justice.'

Thank you and I look forward to embarking on this new journey together.

Respectfully,

Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton"
