Human Rights for Kids presents its new report, "The Childhood Trauma-to-Prison Pipeline: The Prosecution and Incarceration of Traumatized Children." During this ZOOM launch event, a brief presentation on the report's findings will be followed by a panel discussion of national experts. Participants will hear from advocates with lived experience and experts in the field of medicine, mental health, and law who will discuss the impact of severe trauma on brain and behavioral development, best practices for treating traumatized youth, as well as model policy recommendations.
