About this event
A coalition of advocacy groups, including The Gault Center, Lambda Legal, Youth Move National, Juvenile Law Center, National Juvenile Justice Network, The Williams Institute, and Black and Pink, among others, would like to invite all interested youth defenders and advocates to a monthly LGBTQ+ Youth Justice Workgroup. ?During the Biden administration, this group worked with OJJDP to improve policy and increase training and resources. We are now shifting the workgroup's focus to providing support and technical assistance to youth defenders and other advocates for LGBTQ+ youth as they face new and chronic challenges.
?The next meeting is Tuesday, May 20 from 3-4pm CT and continues monthly at 3 pm CT on the third Tuesday of the month.? A Zoom link will be provided for registered attendees.
