The Gault Center's South Central Region presents a training series this month focused on transfer best practices.
This session will discuss the role of counsel in certification and transfer hearings. Ethical and legal responsibilities of counsel will be the focus of the presentation with a discussion of best practices and obligations of counsel in representing youth facing proceedings where the State is seeking removal of youth to adult court.
