This year, the Supreme Court of Illinois Judicial College is presenting a Domestic Violence Curriculum Series.
This is the second event in the series titled, "The Effects of Exposure of Domestic Violence on Children." This course will provide participants with a foundational understanding on the effects of children exposed to domestic violence, the impact of trauma, child resiliency, and court stakeholder decision-making.
Learning Objectives:
* Describe the impact of exposure to domestic violence on children
* Identify how trauma affects children exposed to domestic violence
* Apply decision making around safety through trauma informed lens
