About this event

NACDL invites you to join Part II of Competency and Restoration Reimagined: Competency Process Improvements. Co-sponsored with their colleagues at the National Center for State Courts, this three-part webinar series provides insights on the competency to stand trial and restoration processes and recommendations for improvements.

Competency Process Improvements: This session will focus on the evaluation and improvement of the competency process, with an eye towards encouraging jurisdictions to more carefully consider when they utilize the competency process. Areas we will examine include addressing timing and delays in processing times, using data assessments to improve outcomes, and forensic evaluation improvements.
